Born and raised in the vibrant heart of New York City, Juan Carlos discovered his passion for performance at the age of six. Early roles in school plays and musicals during his private school years helped him cultivate a strong foundation in the performing arts.
This dedication eventually led him to Bard College, where he studied theatre under the mentorship of acclaimed directors JoAnne Akalaitis and Liz Smith. Their rigorous training shaped Juan Carlos’ craft and deepened his understanding of character, story, and stage presence.
After graduating, Juan Carlos returned to New York City to fully pursue his acting career and is currently repped by Malissa Young Management.
With an unwavering work ethic and a genuine love for storytelling, he quickly began building an impressive portfolio across television and theatre.
His screen presence is marked by subtlety, emotional depth, and a grounded authenticity that brings characters to life.
Juan Carlos’ recent television work includes appearances on FBI: Most Wanted (Ronald Bemis, 2025), NCIS: Origins (Ralph, 2025), The Equalizer (Angel, 2024), The Chosen (2024), Law & Order (Miguel Perez, 2023), Halston (Oscar De La Renta, 2021), and a recurring role as the Crane Operator in Manifest (2020–2021).
